• Study on carbon demand to identify the levers and barriers of stakeholders to fund local decarbonization initiatives: 240 companies of varied profiles answered the questionnaire. Among respondents who have heard of financing climate projects through the purchase of carbon credits, 77% are interested in a local contribution scheme. And most respondents believe that local authorities are the legitimate actors to lead such an intermediation structure to facilitate investment in local carbon projects.
• Awareness raising and capacity building of local stakeholders on carbon finance, with the objective to stimulate new offering for the upcoming local carbon contribution scheme: organisation of a round table in cooperation with the local authority and relevant players involved in territorial cooperation, intervention at a local industry event, on-demand technical support for evaluating new carbon methodologies opportunities.
